Fear of failure and anxiety can be overwhelming, but we are called to cast all our anxieties on Him because He cares for us 1 Peter 5:7 WEB. Remember, God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7 WEB. You've acknowledged this is a lack of faith and having a spirit of fear. We strongly agree. You are called to have faith in Jesus Christ and what He did for you on the cross. You must be saved and born again. Do you believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that God raised him from the dead? Have you accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and repented of your sin? Romans 10:9 WEB Because if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
As believers, when we do not believe God is in control when we ignore God's promises or commands we are acting in sin. This is a form of idolatry. You must repent of this sin and start believing God. Do not let Satan use this to attack you! Fight him with the Word of God, submit yourself to God, resist the devil, and he will flee from you James 4:7 WEB.
We understand your desire to trust God with your studies and your future. It's important to prepare and work diligently, but also to trust that God is ultimately in control. Colossians 3:23 WEB says, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men".
Let's pray together:
"Father, in Jesus name we come to you on behalf of the one who has this request. First, we ask if they are saved and born again. If not, we pray that they may truly seek you, believe in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, and repent of their sins. We ask for Your forgiveness for the one making the request and pray that they turn from their fears and trust You completely. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You and trust You with their future. Help them to study and work diligently, but also to rest in Your sovereignty. Give them a spirit of peace and trust, and take away all feelings of anxiety. We ask for supernatural intervention in Jesus' name and that You will guide them and give them wisdom and victory over their exams and their schooling. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to meditate on God's Word, especially the promises that He has given regarding His love, His divine plan, and on Jeremiah 29:11 WEB. "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future". and Isaiah 26:3 WEB. "You will keep whoever's mind is steadfast in perfect peace, because he trusts in you." Read them, believe them, and trust God completely.
Prayer Focus: God, Thank You. Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
