Thank you for sharing your heart's desire with us. We join you in prayer, seeking God's will for your family's home.
Firstly, we acknowledge that every good gift comes from God, and He desires to give good things to His children. As it says in Matthew 7:11 WEB "If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him!"
We pray that God's will be done in this situation. It is important to remember that our plans may not always align with God's plans, but His plans are always best. As we seek God, He will reveal His perfect will, since He is the source of all life and blessing. God commands us in Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB to "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." So, ask God to help your family trust Him as you seek His will for your housing needs.
In Psalm 37:4 WEB we read, "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart." This does not mean that God will give us whatever we want, but rather, as we delight in Him, He aligns our desires with His will.
Regarding the homeowner, we pray that God will soften their heart and give them discernment to make the right decision. We ask that God will bless the homeowner who will be parting with this home which has not yet been under your stewardship. Instead of trying to convince the homeowner, trust God to work in their heart. Proverbs 21:1 WEB reminds us that "The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the rivers of water. He turns it wherever he desires." This also applies to anyone who has authority over a decision. Be confident in God's sovereignty.
In the meantime, wait patiently for the Lord. Psalm 27:14 WEB says, "Wait for Yahweh. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for Yahweh."
We also noticed that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer request. We want to remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God the Father. Acts 4:12 WEB tells us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
We pray this in Jesus' name,
Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up this family to You. We ask that Your will be done in their search for a new home. Lord, if it is Your will for them to have this beautiful new home on the east coast, we ask that You make a way. Soften the homeowner's heart and give them discernment to make the right decision. Help this family to trust in You, to delight in You, and to wait patiently for Your timing. We ask all these things in Jesus Christ's name. We also ask for anything else that needs praying for to be prayed for in Jesus Name. We include our hearts desires for the salvation message be part of every prayer request and any of the things that we pray for. Amen.
Prayer Focus: God, Thank You. Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
