Before we address the issue, let's remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world powers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Firstly, we must ensure that our focus is on God, through His Son Jesus Christ, not on the evil we perceive.
For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved, Acts 4:12 WEB. We are also instructed not to be overly focused on what we are against. Instead, we are to focus on Christ.
Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things. Philippians 4:8 WEB. Colossians 2:8 WEB warns, Be careful that you don't let anyone rob you through his philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the elements of the world, and not after Christ.
