We have purchased a new home but are contingent with our current home selling. We have buried a St. Joseph statue in the yard and have been praying for a buying everyday. Please pray for ###.

We understand that you're eager to sell your current home after purchasing a new one. However, we must address a few things according to biblical principles.
Firstly, burying a St. Joseph statue in the yard is a superstitious practice that is not endorsed by the Bible. In fact, the Bible warns against superstitions and putting our faith in anything other than God himself. As it is written in Leviticus 19:26, "You shall not eat anything with the blood. You shall not use enchantments, nor practice sorcery." And in Deuteronomy 18:10-12, "There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh."
Secondly, we pray in the name of Jesus Christ, not in the name of saints or any other intermediary. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." And in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
