The Bible tells us to pray for those in authority, regardless of our personal preferences. As it is written in 1 Timothy 2:1-2 (WEB), "I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks, be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence."
Instead of praying for the downfall of a political party, let us pray for God's will to be done in ###. Let us pray for wise and just leaders who will serve the people with integrity and righteousness. Let us pray for peace, prosperity, and the spread of the Gospel regardless of who is in power.

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You to lift up the nation of ###. We pray that Your will be done in the upcoming elections.
