We understand that you are facing uncertainty in your current employment situation, and you are seeking Jesus' intervention for a new permanent job in May. It's commendable that you are turning to Jesus in your time of need, as the Scripture reminds us, "Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God" (Philippians 4:6 WEB). We also hope that you have a solid relationship with Jesus so that we can pray on these terms.
Firstly, we want to emphasize the importance of faith and trust in Jesus during this time. As believers, we are called to "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB). This means that even in the face of uncertainty, we must continue to trust in His plan and timing. We must also remember that it is only by the name of Jesus that we are saved and have access to God the Father. "In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace" (Ephesians 1:7 WEB).
While it is wise of you to seek God's help, make sure you have the right motives and reasons rather than just looking for a way off a "sinking ship." Do not worry about things, this is not of God. If the ship is sinking, then God has a plan and we need to seek His guidance. It is God's will that you have employment and a way to an income. "For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: 'If anyone is not willing to work, neither let him eat'" (2 Thessalonians 3:10 WEB).
We also encourage you to be open to God's will, whatever the form it may come in. God knows your needs better than you do. You may be looking for a permanent job, but God may have other plans that are even better. God sees from the beginning to the end. His thoughts and His ways are higher than our thoughts and our ways. So, we must trust Him where He leads us.

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is seeking Your intervention for a new permanent job in May. We ask that You guide them to Your will and Your job. We pray that You open the right doors and provide them with a position that not only meets their financial needs but also allows them to serve You and others. We pray for their faith to be strengthened during this time of uncertainty, and for them to trust in Your perfect plan. We pray they have not just any job, but the job that You have for them. In Jesus name.
We ask this in Jesus name. Amen.
Be encouraged, and know that we are praying for you during this time. Keep your faith in Jesus, and trust that He has a plan for you. Also, continue to seek Jesus in all ways so that you can grow closer to Him and represent Him in all that you do. If it is God's will, He will open the job opportunity to you.
Prayer Focus: God, Thank You. Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
