We are glad to join you in prayer for your job situation and your love life. We appreciate that you acknowledge Jesus. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God.
Firstly, let's pray for your job situation. We are reminded in Matthew 6:31-34 (WEB):
"Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient."
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, seeking Your will for our brother's job situation. We pray that You would provide a new job according to Your riches and glory in Christ Jesus. We trust that You know his needs and will supply accordingly. We also pray for the upcoming interview, that You would grant favor and wisdom. Help him to trust in You and not be anxious about the future. Help him to seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness. May this time be an opportunity to draw closer to You and experience Your faithfulness.
Now, concerning your love life, we want to encourage you to trust God's timing and His ways. It's important to remember that marriage is a sacred covenant between a man and a woman, as outlined in the Bible. In Genesis 2:24 (WEB) we read, "Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh."
As to the Psalm 37:4-5 (WEB) says, "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this:"
Let us pray:
Dear Lord, we bring before You our brother's desire for a godly spouse and a marriage that honors You. We pray that You would guide his steps and bring the right person into his life at the right time. Help him to delight in You and commit his ways to You, trusting that You will give him the desires of his heart as he follows You. Help him to keep his ways pure and honor You in all his relationships. Guide him in courtship with the goal being marriage to another Christian Believer.
Remember, God is faithful and He cares about every aspect of your life. Continue to trust in Him and seek His will in all things.
Lastly, we want to remind you of the importance of praying in Jesus' name. As Jesus said in John 14:13-14 (WEB), "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. (Acts 4:12)
If in the future you have a friend praying to Mary, an angel, or non-living saints, you should extend this advice to them as well.
