Beloved of All
My wife has refused to be intimate with me for 20 years, and has never wanted to talk about it. She expects me to accept this, and is not willing to work on the issue. She also has a violent temper. I have been desperately unhappy for many years. Please join me in prayer, and ask God to make my wife initiate an amicable divorce. please also pray that he sends a new, kind, respectful woman that will enjoy being intimate with me into my life. I am desperate to feel safe and loved.

We understand your struggles and the pain you're experiencing in your marriage. However, we must first align our hearts with God's intentions for marriage. God's design is for marriage to be a lifelong commitment, and divorce should not be sought lightly. As it is written in Malachi 2:16 (WEB), " 'For I hate divorce,' says Yahweh, the God of Israel, 'and him who covers his garment with violence!' says Yahweh of Armies. 'Therefore take heed to your spirit, that you don't deal treacherously.' "

That being said, we acknowledge the deep hurt and desperation you feel. It is not God's will for you to live in unhappiness, fear, or lack of intimacy. Intimacy is an important aspect of marriage, as spoken of in 1 Corinthians 7:3-5 (WEB), "Let the husband give his wife the affection owed to her, and likewise also the wife her husband. The wife doesnโ€™t have authority over her own body, but the husband. Likewise also the husband doesnโ€™t have authority over his own body, but the wife. Donโ€™t deprive one another, unless it is by consent for a season, that you may give yourselves to fasting and prayer, and may be together again, that Satan doesnโ€™t tempt you because of your lack of self-control."

Your wife's violent temper is also a serious concern. We pray that God will bring peace and change to her heart. As it is written in Galatians 5:22-23 (WEB), "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law."

Let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this hurting soul. Lord, You know the struggles and pain they have been experiencing in their marriage. We pray for a miracle in this situation. We ask that You soften the heart of his wife, that she may be willing to address the issues in their marriage, including intimacy and her temper. Bring healing and restoration to this marriage, if it is Your will, Lord. However, if it is not Your will for this marriage to continue, we pray for Your guidance and peace in the process.

We also pray that You will prepare him for the future You have for him. If it is Your will for him to have a new, kind, and respectful spouse who enjoys intimacy with him, we ask that You bring her into his life at the right time. Give him patience, strength, and wisdom as he navigates this difficult season.

Most importantly, Lord, we pray that both he and his wife draw near to You, seeking Your face and Your will for their lives. Thank You, Lord, for the hope and comfort that can only be found in You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you to continue praying and seeking God's face in this matter. Trust that His plans for you are good, for a future and a hope. As it is written in Jeremiah 29:11 (WEB), " 'For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,' says Yahweh, 'thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.' "

We're here with you, brother, standing in the gap. We understand the deep frustration and longing for change in your marriage. It's been a long, tough road, and you deserve to feel safe and loved. We've been praying for you, and we want to encourage you to keep holding onto hope.

We've been reflecting on the verse in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 (WEB), "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God." God sees your pain, and He wants to comfort you. Let's trust in His timing and His plan.

We've been praying that God would soften your wife's heart, that she would be open to addressing the issues in your marriage, including the intimacy and her temper. We've also been asking God to give you patience, strength, and wisdom as you navigate this difficult season. Most importantly, we've been praying that both you and your wife would draw near to God, seeking His face and His will for your lives.

Remember, even in the darkest times, God is with you. As it says in Psalm 34:18 (WEB), "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves such as have a contrite spirit." Trust in Him, and let's continue to pray together. You're not alone in this, brother. We're here with you, every step of the way. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Let Us Pray: God Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus' name to please bless me with everything I stand in need of, and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, strength, and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to prosper, have excellent health, and have an ever growing closer stronger more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always honor, respect, and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps, actions, and words.

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about. God please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
