We are grieved to hear about the struggle with pornography and masturbation, but we are here to help and pray with you in Jesus' name. First, let us remind you of what the Word of God says:
"Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body." (1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB)
"For this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality, that each one of you know how to possess himself of his own vessel in sanctification and honor, not in the passion of lust, even as the Gentiles who don't know God." (1 Thessalonians 4:3-5 WEB)
Let our response be clear: we must flee from sexual immorality, which includes pornography and masturbation. These acts are not part of God's will for our lives, and they harm our relationship with Him and others. God calls us to be pure and holy, as He is holy.
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister who is struggling with temptation. Lord, we know that Your will is for us to be holy and pure, and that You have provided a way out of temptation (1 Corinthians 10:13).
Help our sister to flee from these sinful desires and to seek Your face instead. Strengthen her in her inner being with Your Holy Spirit, that Christ may dwell in her heart through faith. (Ephesians 3:16-17)
Give her the power to resist the devil and his schemes, and help her to put on the full armor of God. (Ephesians 6:10-18)
Surround her with godly friends and mentors who can support and encourage her in her walk with You. Help her to fix her eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. (Hebrews 12:2)
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, sister, that God loves you and wants the best for you. He is faithful and just to forgive your sins and cleanse you from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9) Trust in Him, and He will give you the strength to overcome this temptation. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, and He will guide you into all truth. (John 16:13)
We also want to mention that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ or an abbreviation such as IJN (In Jesus Name). It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved.
The Bible says:
Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 (WEB)
It is important to address requests to our almighty God the Father in the name of Jesus Christ. This is the only way that God will hear our prayers.
For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father. Ephesians 2:18 (WEB)
