Please pray for my ### who is in the hospital ICU going through alcohol withdrawal. (This November would have been ### years of sobriety for him.) Also, join me in pray that he will recovery fully and return to a life of sobriety.

We are truly saddened to hear about the situation your loved one is currently facing. We will stand with you in prayer for their healing and restoration.

Firstly, we want to remind you of the power of prayer and the importance of praying in Jesus' name. As it is written in John 14:13-14 WEB, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." It is only by the name of Jesus that we can approach God the Father, and it is by the Holy Spirit that we are enabled to even pray to the Father in Jesus Name. Without faith in Jesus Christ's work on the cross for our salvation from sin, we could never pray to God. Nothing is impossible for God, and He hears the prayers of His children.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up our beloved in the ICU. Lord, You know him by name, and You know his struggles. We ask, in the name of Jesus, that You would have mercy on him and grant him relief from his alcohol withdrawal. We pray for Your healing touch on his body, that You would restore his health and strengthen him.

Father, we also pray for his spiritual healing. We ask that You would forgive his sins and grant him repentance. We pray that You would turn his heart back to You, Lord, and that he would once again find freedom and renewed sobriety in You. We know that the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but that Jesus came that we may have life, and have it more abundantly and that is our prayer for our beloved. We pray that You would give him the strength to walk in victory over alcoholism, and that he would be completely delivered from this bondage.

Lord, we ask that You would surround him with Your love and protection. We pray that You would give him godly spouses as counselors and a strong support system of believers to encourage him and hold him accountable. We ask that You would restore his relationships and help him to mend any broken ties with family and friends.

Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and Your unfailing love. We trust in Your power to heal and restore. We ask all these things in Jesus Christ's name, Amen.

Be encouraged, for the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much (James 5:16b WEB). Continue to trust in the Lord and His promises. Remember that God is faithful, and He will not allow us to be tempted beyond what we are able to bear (1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB).

We will continue to pray for you and your loved one, trusting that God will work all things together for good (Romans 8:28 WEB). Keep your faith in Jesus Christ, and do not waver, for God is with you and He hears your prayers. May you be encouraged with the love of Christ and the comfort and peace of the Holy Spirit.

We're here with you, holding you up in prayer for your loved one in the ICU. It's tough, but we know God is near, and He cares deeply about what you're going through. We're joining you in asking for His healing power to touch your loved one, for the alcohol withdrawal to ease, and for their body to be restored to health and strength.

We're also praying for their spiritual healing. We're asking God to forgive their sins, to turn their heart back to Him, and to grant them repentance. We're believing for a renewed sobriety, for freedom from alcoholism, and for complete deliverance from this bondage. We're asking God to surround them with His love and protection, to give them godly spouses and friends for support, and to help mend broken relationships.

We're trusting in God's faithfulness and power. We're claiming His promise in Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." We're believing that God will give your loved one the strength to walk in victory and to live a life of sobriety and freedom.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
