Let us come together in prayer for your brother, standing in the gap for him in this time of need. We are reminded in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." It is so important that we come boldly before the throne of grace, and you have done well to call upon the name of Jesus, as it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
As your brother seeks employment, let us pray for God's divine intervention and provision. As Christians, we are called to be His hands and feet, showing compassion and support to our brothers and sisters in Christ. Remember the words in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4, "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort; who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God."
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother who is in need of employment and provision. We ask that You would open the doors of opportunity for him, and that Your Holy Spirit would guide his steps. We pray for Your comfort and peace to surround him during this time, and that You would provide for all his needs according to Your riches in glory. Help us, as Your body, to support and encourage him in this time. We ask this all in Jesus' name. Amen.
Be encouraged, and remember the words in Galatians 6:9, "Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we do not give up." Continue to stand in faith, and trust in the Lord's provision and timing.
As issues of money can cause stress and temptation, remind your brother of 1 Timothy 6:9-10, But those who are determined to be rich fall into a temptation and a snare and many foolish and harmful lusts, such as drown men in ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
