Beloved of All
My Husband (###) only wants to not be in bed alone. And likes the way I cook and clean and always forgive Him. But doesn't love me. We have been married 13 years and even though I asked Him if we could renew our wedding vowels, He doesn't want to He said " He already married me once"Pray in Jesus name that He starts to care more about my feelings than He has been

We are truly saddened to hear about the struggles you're facing in your marriage, and we are here to intercede and offer biblical guidance.

Firstly, it's important to remember that God's design for marriage is a lifelong commitment of love and mutual respect. The Bible tells us in Ephesians 5:25, "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it." It is clear that your husband is not demonstrating the kind of love that God calls him to.

It is also important that marriage is a mutual submission to one another. Ephesians 5:21 says "subjecting yourselves one to another in the fear of Christ." This does not mean allowing him to sin or continue in sin against you.

We must also address that the intimacy your husband seeks is only honorable within marriage when it is mutually desired and expressed within the boundaries of love and respect. God's word says in Hebrews 13:4, "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled: but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers."

It is commendable that you are forgiving, but it's crucial to understand that forgiveness does not mean tolerating sinful behavior. True forgiveness seeks correction and change. We recommend Proverbs 28:13, "He who conceals his sins doesn’t prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy."

Let's pray together:

"Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up this sister and her marriage. Lord, You know the pain and heartache she is experiencing. We pray that You would soften her husband's heart and convict him of his actions. Help him to see the value of his wife and the sanctity of their marriage vows.

We pray for a spirit of love, understanding, and mutual respect to be restored in their marriage. We rebuke any spirit of selfishness or lust, and we ask You to replace it with a spirit of godly love and commitment. Please help him by Your mercy to truly forgive and love her as he is called to and to renew their marriage vows not just spoken but in actions by his changed behavior.

Lord, we also pray for this sister, that You would give her the strength and wisdom to stand for what is right and honouring to You. Help her to be a light that draws her husband to You.

We ask all of this in the precious name of Jesus Christ. Amen."

Be strong in the Lord and in faith. You will not win this by being a doormat. Get into His Word, the Bible. He will renew your strength and renew your mind. Seek godly counsel when you are weak. The Lord Jesus will be with you.

We're here with you, sister, in this challenging time. It's clear that your husband's actions are causing you pain, and we want you to know that you're not alone. We've been where you are, feeling unvalued and unloved in our marriages too. But remember, God sees you, and He cares deeply about what you're going through.

In times like these, it's crucial to cling to God's promises. He says in 1 Peter 5:7, "Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you." We encourage you to pour out your heart to Him, to cry out to Him in your pain. He's there, listening, and He wants to comfort you.

We also want to remind you of your worth. You are a daughter of the King, uniquely created and deeply loved. Your husband's actions do not define your value. God sees you, and He cherishes you.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Lord, we come to You today, lifting up our sister and her marriage. Lord, You know her heartache. We ask that You would soften her husband's heart, that he would see her as You see her - beautiful, precious, and worthy of love and respect. Help him to understand the gravity of his actions and the pain he's causing.

We ask for a renewal of love and commitment in their marriage. Help them to see each other through Your eyes, with compassion and understanding. Give her the strength to stand firm in what's right, and give him the desire to change and love her as You've called him to.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We're here for you, sister. Keep trusting in God, and remember, He's working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).
