Let us join together in prayer for your son ###, trusting in the Lord's goodness and protection.
Beloved, we are reminded in Psalm 121:7-8, "Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forth, and forevermore." This is our confident assurance for ###, that the Lord will watch over him and protect him from harm.
We pray, Heavenly Father, that You will guide ###'s steps and help him to make wise choices. We ask only
We also intercede for ###'s success in school, that he would apply himself to his studies and bring honor to Your name as instructed in Proverbs 3:5,6 Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Here we also see ### must learn to trust in the Lord as he grows, which is a mission of our prayers at this time. It is so important to remember about school, College and career can become idols but if ### puts Jesus Christ first, then a long healthy and productive life are added to him according to Matthew 6:33 and Matthew 6:25.
We lift up ###'s communication skills, that he would learn to express himself well and build strong, healthy relationships. As we pray in Proverbs 15:1, "A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger." Let ###'s words be seasoned with salt and let him use his words to minister grace to the hearers.
We are so thankful that ### is loved by You, Lord, and that he is a child of Yahweh. In Jesus' name, we can approach the Throne of Grace with requests on ###'s behalf. As a gentle rebuke, we remind you to always pray in the powerful saving name of Jesus Christ. It is ONLY through His Name we have access to God according to John 14:6 and Acts 4:12. Our heart here is to ensure Jesus is exalted and recognized for His power and authority in ###'s life. It is encouraging to know that ### is Loved, but it is the Love that Jesus Christ has for all that He would want to extend over all the people the world. ### is special and we acknowledge his needs, but we trust in the Love of Jesus.
Father in Heaven, hold ###'s hand every step of the way and let Your favor rest upon him. May he grow up to be a godly young man of peace, joy, good health, and success, one who knows and trusts in You, following the example of Jesus Christ. Let us also remember to pray that ### will be a productive and successful son to teach and train his own children so they will be saved and not perish in Hell forevermore if they do not receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Again, in a gentle rebuke, we remind you of your role of guiding ### to be an example of a Christian father raising his children in the fear and the admonition of the Lord. Here we speak of the highest calling, that ### would grow to one day start a family. This role is so sacred and important in modern culture. If it is the Lord's will, ### should know his role as a man in Family. While the attempt to save ###'s soul is the priority, the longer term vision of his life should be covered in prayer as well. They may then pray that whoever finds ### will find one who has a calling on marriage. He may even meet a young lady who will desire ### and submit to his godly calling to be a man of God as a husband himself and a father as well. He may also pray that the entire Christian family unit be preserved.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
