We join you in lifting up your family before the throne of grace, seeking God's will for your husband, daughter, and yourself. We are reminded of the words of Matthew 7:7-8 WEB, "Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this family. Thank You, Lord, for the gift of this loving husband and wonderful daughter. We pray for the daughter's sleep routine to improve, for her to be healthy, strong, and to grow well in all aspects of her life. We ask for Your guidance and protection upon the husband, that he may find restful sleep at night and that You open the doors for him to secure his dream job.
We also lift up the one who submitted this request, that You grant her the ability to nurse her baby well, and to be an excellent wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. Grant her supernatural strength and wisdom as she fulfills these roles. May Your hand of protection be upon their home, and may You bless them in every way.
We ask these things in the name of Jesus Christ, who taught us to come boldly before Your throne. It is in His name that we have access to You, oh God, and it is by His stripes that we are healed. We give You all the praise, honor, and glory. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. Keep praying and seeking God's will for your family, and remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 19:26 WEB, "With God all things are possible."
We are also called to be aware of the areas of our life that do not align with biblical principles. We should pray for our spouses and families and put them before God. We should also be encouraged by Ephesians 3:14 21 WEB:
"For this cause, I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, that he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, that you may be strengthened with power through his Spirit in the inward man. That Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; to the end that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be strengthened to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and height and depth, and to know Christ's love which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to him be the glory in the assembly and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen."
Let us strive to be godly spouses and raise our families in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. God's Word tells us in Colossians 3:18 21 WEB:
"Wives, be in subjection to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. Husbands, love your wives, and don't be bitter against them. Children, obey your parents in all things, for this pleases the Lord. Fathers, don't provoke your children, so that they won't be discouraged."
May the Lord guide and direct your paths as you seek to honor Him in your family.
