We are truly saddened to hear about the burden you've carried due to the words spoken over your life and the expectations placed upon you. We stand with you in the name of Jesus Christ, and we agree that these curses of romantic rejection are broken.
God's heart for you is one of love, acceptance, and freedom of bondage. We know that it is written in Galatians 3:13 WEB, "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree.'" This means that Jesus has already paid the price on the cross to break every curse in your life.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, standing in agreement with our sister. We ask that You break every curse of romantic rejection in her life. Please let the power of Your Holy Spirit flow through her, healing every wound, every trauma, and every devastation caused by these curses and false expectations. Father, we ask that You give her courage and strength to move forward. Please help her to love and forgive her father and her family, and to set healthy boundaries.
Father, we ask that You fulfill Your promise in Psalm 37:4 WEB, "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart." We ask that You bring a Godly husband into her life, that she may know true love as You intended. We declare that she is not forgotten, she is not forsaken and she is not condemned to being alone. We thank You that Your plans for her are to prosper her and not to harm her, plans to give her hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB).
Father, we also pray for her family, that they may be convicted by Your Holy Spirit and released from any bondage of control and manipulation. We ask that You turn their hearts towards You and towards the freedom of Your truth.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you, dear sister, to stand firm in the freedom that Jesus Christ has bought for you. Remember that He said in John 8:36 WEB, "If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed." Trust in God's timing and His plan for your life. We also encourage you to seek godly counsel and support as you navigate these changes in your life.
Lastly, we want to make sure that you are in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to God (John 14:6 WEB). We should strive to believe in Jesus Christ and His completed work on the cross for salvation (John 3:16 WEB).
