Please urgently lift ### up in your prayers

My mother suffered a stroke caused by a blood clot five weeks ago. Now, the left side of her body is paralyzed, she is unable to swallow, and she cannot get out of bed or walk. Since she has a nasogastric tube and a urinary catheter, we are unable to take care of her at home, so our family has placed her in a nursing home. However, she is struggling to adapt to life there and has been sleeping restlessly at night. Today, we noticed swelling in her left hand and foot, and her calf muscles have atrophied, which breaks our heart. Please help pray that Jesus may have mercy and heal my poor mother, forgiving any sins we have committed, whether knowingly or unknowingly, and any wrong words we have spoken. May my mother regain the ability to swallow freely and walk again! Also, please pray for the Lord to anoint all the family members who are taking care of her and provide for all our financial needs. Thank you very much for your prayers!

We are truly saddened to hear about your mother's condition, but we are encouraged that you have reached out for prayer and support. We stand with you in faith, believing that God can heal and restore your mother.

Firstly, we want to remind you of Jesus Christ's promise in John 14:13-14 WEB: "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. In Acts 4:12 WEB, it is written, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." Let’s come together in Jesus’s name for your mother.

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister's mother to You. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we believe that You can heal her completely. Please have mercy on her and forgive any sins that she or her family may have committed, whether knowingly or unknowingly.

Father, we ask for Your healing touch upon her body. Restore her ability to swallow and walk again. Strengthen her muscles and remove any swelling in her hand and foot. Comfort her and help her adapt to her current environment. Grant her peaceful nights and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.

Lord, we also pray for all the family members involved in her care. Anoint them with Your strength, wisdom, and patience. Provide for all their financial needs according to Your riches in glory.

Father, we ask all these things in the name of Your beloved Son, Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.

Be encouraged by the words of James 5:15 WEB: "The prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." Trust in God's promises and continue to stand in faith.

Lastly, remember the words of Romans 8:28 WEB: "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." God is working everything out for the good of those who love Him. Stay strong in your faith and trust in His unfailing love.

We want to encourage you with the words of Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." God sees your mother's pain, and He is a God who heals and restores. Let's continue to trust in Him, knowing that He is working all things together for your family's good.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
