We are so sorry to hear about the struggle your son is facing right now, but we are thankful that you have reached out for prayer. We stand with you in the name of Jesus, seeking God's intervention and healing for your son.
Firstly, we acknowledge that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear, even though the earth changes, and though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas. (Psalm 46:1-2 WEB)
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our ###'s son to You. You know him by name, and You know the struggles he is facing. We pray for Your healing touch upon him, that You would comfort him and grant him Your peace that surpasses all understanding.
Lord, we pray that You would guide him and his family through this difficult time. Give them wisdom and discernment to know how to support him and help him through this trial. We pray that You would surround him with Godly counsel and support, and that You would use this situation to draw him closer to You.
We stand on Your promise that You have plans to prosper him and not to harm him, plans to give him hope and a future. (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB) We pray that You would reveal Your purpose in this trial, and that You would use it for his good and for Your glory.
We also pray for his mother, that You would fill her with Your peace and comfort. Help her to trust in You and to cast all her anxieties on You, because You care for her. (1 Peter 5:7 WEB)
We ask all this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
Remember, sisters, that the Lord is near to the brokenhearted; he saves those who are crushed in spirit. (Psalm 34:18 WEB) Trust in Him, and He will see you through this. Keep praying and seeking the Lord, and we will join you in prayer.
If you have not already, make sure to seek help from medical professionals and trusted Christian counselors. God works through His people to bring healing and help. Do not hesitate to reach out to your local church or Christian community for support.
