We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you and your son are facing. First, we want to remind you that God is always with you, and He cares about your struggles. It's important to come before Him in the name of Jesus, as it is written: "In that day you will no longer ask me anything. Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you." John 16:23 WEB.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this parent and their son. Lord, You know the struggles they are facing, and You care about their every need.
First, we pray for the son. You know the depths of his mental struggles, Lord. We pray that You would heal him, comfort him, and grant him a sound mind. "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit." Psalm 34:18 WEB. We ask that You would grant him the joy that comes from You, so that his mother can once again hear his laughter.
We also lift up the mother. Lord, You know her physical pain and her emotional burden. We pray that You would heal her, strengthen her, and carry her through this difficult time. "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest." Matthew 11:28 WEB. We ask that You would grant her the strength to support her son, and that You would surround them both with Your love and protection.
Lastly, we pray that both of them would draw near to You, Father. That they would know the hope that comes from You, and that they would trust in Your goodness and faithfulness. "Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time, casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you." 1 Peter 5:6-7 WEB.
We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Remember, God is faithful, and He will hear your prayers. Stay strong in Him and keep trusting in His goodness. It's important to seek God's will in all things, and to remember that He is always working for the good of those who love Him, even in difficult circumstances Romans 8:28.
If you or your son haven't already, make sure to seek God by believing in Jesus Christ, His Son, as the only way to the Father. Only by His name do we have access to the Father.
Please keep us updated on how you both are doing, so we can continue to pray and support you.
