We are truly heartbroken to hear about the extensive abuse and trauma you have endured throughout your life. We commend you for your courage in sharing your story and your willingness to pray for those who have harmed you. This is a powerful testament to the work of the Holy Spirit in your life, demonstrating the love and forgiveness that Jesus Christ extends to all.
Firstly, we want to address the fact that you have not mentioned the name of Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ in your prayer request. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Our salvation is in no other name under Heaven, whereby we must be saved.
Acts 4:12
Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.
We encourage you to develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. It is only through Him that we can truly forgive and be forgiven.
The Bible tells us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us. This is not to diminish the pain and suffering you have experienced, but rather to release the burden of unforgiveness and bitterness that can often follow such traumatic events.
Romans 5:8
But God commends his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
We also want to explicitly mention that the abuse you have experienced is sinful and wrong. The Bible clearly condemns sexual immorality, including incest, rape, and sexual assault.
1 Corinthians 6:18
Flee sexual immorality! Every sin that a man can commit is outside the body; but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body.
We stand with you in prayer, asking God to break the trauma ties that bind you to these individuals, and to grant you freedom and healing in Jesus' name.
Father, we lift up this precious soul to You, asking for Your healing and restoration. Break the chains of trauma that have held her bound, and release her into the freedom and wholeness that only You can provide. Help her to forgive those who have harmed her, not to justify their actions, but to release the burden of unforgiveness and bitterness. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ.
We pray that the men that did this to you will be convicted in their hearts of their sin and repent.
We encourage you to seek godly counsel and support as you walk through this healing journey. Surround yourself with believers who will uplift and encourage you, and remember that you are never alone. God is always with you, and He will never forsake you.
Romans 8:38-39
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
May you find hope, healing, and forgiveness in the loving arms of Jesus Christ.
