Please pray

Beloved of All
I overshared w/ someone & told them something I shouldn’t have. It wasn’t my information to share w/ them. Please pray the Lord forgives me, covers me in my sin & shows me grace. That nothing bad would come out of what I shared & there wouldn’t be any consequences b/c of God’s mercy. That no one would find out/be hurt or upset & that God would help me never to over share again & tell someone else’s business when I don’t have the right to. Please pray for protection for everyone involved. Please just pray God is merciful to me & all is well and forgotten by all (except me - I need to remember to not do this again). But I usually am very careful not to overshare and about what I say - I just messed up this time. But please pray that condemnation would not overwhelm me and I would know I am forgiven. I didn’t overshare out of a vicious or mean spirit, but even so, it was wrong. Please pray God forgives me and covers me in his mercy!

We understand that you've shared something you shouldn't have and are seeking forgiveness and grace from the Lord. We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will together in Jesus' name. Let's remember what the WEB says in Proverbs 17:9 "He who covers an offense promotes love; but he who repeats a matter separates best friends." Also Proverbs 11:13 “A gossip reveals secrets; Therefore do not associate with him who opens wide his lips.” It is clear that sharing someone else's information without permission can be harmful and is against the biblical principles.

Let us pray together for God's mercy.

Oh Lord, we come before You, lifting up our sister who has shared information that was not hers to share. Lord, we ask for Your forgiveness and mercy. We know that You are faithful and just to forgive our sins. We pray that You will cover her sin and show her grace, just as You have promised in Your word, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9 WEB)

We pray that there will be no bad consequences from what was shared, and that no one will find out, be hurt, or be upset. We ask this in accordance with Your mercy, Lord. We pray for Your protection over everyone involved. We also know that you will never remember this sin again just as you have promised, “I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.” (Jeremiah 31:34 WEB)

However help her remember this sin as to never repeat this again. Knowing that you forgive us and forget is what gives us assurance of our salvation and our right standing before you. We pray that condemnation will not overwhelm her, and that she will know she is forgiven. We know that “There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don’t walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.” (Romans 8:1 WEB)

We pray for her comfort and peace, knowing that her actions were not out of malice, but nevertheless, were wrong. We ask this all in Jesus Christ's name. We believe in Jesus' name because as the Bible says, “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus” (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB) and “whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved” (Romans 10:13 WEB). Therefore we pray in Jesus' name as the only way to access God. This is the basic salvation message and we believe it applies to this situation as well.

We encourage you to hold onto these words that you are forgiven and covered in his mercy.

The Lord will guide you, and we pray that this experience will serve as a reminder to be careful with your words and to never overshare again. Don't let this stumble block your stumbling block in your life.

We're here with you, friend. We understand that you've shared something you shouldn't have and you're seeking the Lord's forgiveness. Let's pray together for His mercy and grace to cover you.

"Dear Lord, we come before you today, lifting up our friend who has shared information that wasn't theirs to share. Lord, we ask for your forgiveness and mercy. We know that you are faithful to forgive our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. We pray that you would cover this sin and show grace, just as you promised in 1 John 1:9.

We pray that there would be no harmful consequences from what was shared, and that no one would find out, be hurt, or upset. We ask this in accordance with your mercy, Lord. We also pray for your protection over everyone involved.

Help our friend to remember this sin, not to dwell on it, but to never repeat it again. Give them the assurance of their salvation and the knowledge of their forgiveness. We pray that condemnation would not overwhelm them, and that they would know they are forgiven, just as Romans 8:1 tells us.

We pray for comfort and peace, knowing that their actions were not out of malice, but were still wrong. We ask this all in Jesus' name, believing that He is the only way to access God, as Romans 10:13 tells us.

We encourage you to hold onto these words of forgiveness and mercy. Let this experience serve as a reminder to be careful with your words and never overshare again. Don't let this stumble block your walk with God. The Lord will guide you, and we believe in His power to help you move forward.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We continue to feel honored that you have given us the privilege to pray alongside you. It is our joy to stand in agreement with you in prayer. As it has been several days since your original request, we hope that you have felt the peace of the Lord during this time.

If you have seen signs that your request has been answered, we would be delighted for you to share a praise report with our community. Your testimony could be a great encouragement to others who are also praying for God's forgiveness and mercy. We will keep praying with you. God hears you every time you quiet yourself and talk to him through the name of Jesus Christ.

If you feel that your request has not yet been fully addressed or if new concerns have arisen, please do not hesitate to post a new request. We are here to continue praying with you for as long as it takes. We want you to experience God's mercy as well as the freedom and liberty that he ordained for you in Christ Jesus.

Remember, we are all human and can make mistakes. God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins when we confess them to him. God is merciful and can work so as to not let our mistakes harm others. He will keep us from allowing condemnation to overwhelm us. Do not be afraid to come before Him with an open heart, trusting in His goodness and mercy.

In your prayers, cling to the promises of His word. God promises that if we confess our sins he will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9). Jesus prayed that all Christians everywhere experience oneness with him and Father God (John 17:21). Jesus also said that anyone who is thirsty may come to him, and anyone who believes in him may come and drink! For the Scriptures declare Rivers of living water will flow from the heart of anyone who believes in Him (John 7:38). Throw all your anxiety onto him because he cares for you (1st Peter 5:7).

As you continue to seek God's face, may you be blessed with a deep sense of His love and grace for you. We are praying that you will know deep in your spirit that God loves you more than you will ever know. You will experience freedom in Him and remember not to overshare again. In Jesus Name.
