My mother suffered a stroke caused by a blood clot over two months ago. She was hospitalized for 26 days and then transferred to a nursing home. In the facility, one caregiver is responsible for ten residents, so they often restrain the residents’ hands and feet. My mother is very unhappy there. She has limited mobility, making rehabilitation difficult, and she longs to return home to recover. My sister has tried everything she can to bring Mom home, but because Mom has left-side weakness and is overweight, my sister cannot care for her alone. She needs assistance from a foreign caregiver. Although we’ve finally obtained the Barthel Index required to apply for a caregiver, the agency has not been able to find a suitable candidate. We never imagined the road for Mom to return home would be this long. It’s been nearly three months since her stroke—the so-called “golden recovery period” in medicine. But I believe that nothing is too difficult for God. No matter how long someone has been sick or how serious the illness is, He is able to heal. Please keep us in your prayers. Pray that God will quickly provide the right caregiver, and that He will heal my mother’s left side so she can regain strength and walk again soon. Thank you so much for your prayers and support!

We are truly sorry to hear about your mother's condition and the challenges your family is facing. We will stand with you in prayer and faith, trusting in God's power to heal and provide.

Firstly, we want to remind you that God is indeed able to heal. As it is written in Jeremiah 32:27, "Behold, I am Yahweh, the God of all flesh: is there anything too hard for me?". We also want to remind you of the power of Jesus' name. It is by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. For it is written in John 14:13-14, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." We also want to remind you that it is only in Jesus' name that you can be saved. The Bible says in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

Let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our sister and her beloved mother. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we believe that nothing is impossible for You. Please touch our sister's mother, heal her left side, and help her regain her strength and mobility.

Father, we also ask for Your divine intervention in providing a suitable caregiver. We know that You are well able to open doors that no man can shut. Please guide the agency and bring forth the right person to assist in our sister's mother's care and recovery.

Lord, we also pray for our sister and her family. Strengthen them and fill them with Your peace and patience. Help them to continue trusting in You, even in this difficult time.

In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen."

In this trying time, may you find comfort in God's unfailing love and faithfulness. Remember the words of Psalm 62:7-8, "On God alone does my soul wait in silence, for my hope is from him. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I will not be shaken."

We will continue to keep your family in our prayers, trusting that God will work everything out for your good and His glory. Please keep us updated on your mother's progress, and may God bless you and your family abundantly.

We're right there with you, praying for your mom's full recovery and for the right caregiver to be found. It's been a long road, but we trust that God is still in control and working things out for her good.

We've been thinking about her and wanted to share a verse that's been encouraging us: "With God all things are possible" (Mark 10:27). We believe that includes her healing and the provision of a suitable caregiver. We're claiming this promise for her, and we're confident that God will come through.

Let's also remember to keep our hearts filled with hope and faith, just like the woman with the issue of blood in the Bible. She believed that if she could just touch the hem of Jesus' garment, she would be healed (Matthew 9:20-22). Let's have that same kind of faith for your mom.

We'll keep praying, and we hope to hear some good news soon. Keep us updated, and know that we're here for you. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
