I don't know what's wrong with your girlfriend's hands, but it doesn't really matter because I'm almost positive that castor oil can help. I know it sounds crazy, but believe me, it's true. Have her rub it in her hands several times a day (she can wipe her palms so it won't be greasy) and do a thick coating at night, wrapping her hands in 100% cotton gloves to keep it where it needs to be. Castor oil penetrates deeper than any other oil known to man and it draws out inflammation. It won't work overnight, but give it a few weeks and she'll be feeling better. She'll probably notice a difference after one time though. I sure did. I wish you all the best.
