We stand with you in your heartfelt cry against racism and discrimination. We must remember that God created all people in His image, and every person is precious in His sight. As it is written in the World English Bible (WEB), "There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus" (Galatians 3:28).
Your desire for love and unity is a reflection of God's heart. Jesus taught us, "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, just like I have loved you; that you also love one another" (John 13:34). It is only through love that we can overcome the sin of racism.
Let us pray together:
"Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we come before You to intercede for our nation and our world. We ask that You pour out Your love into the hearts of all people, so that we may see and treat each other as You see usβwith love, compassion, and dignity. We rebuke the spirit of racism and discrimination, and we ask that You heal our land from this sin. Help us to remember that in Christ, there is no division or favoritism, but rather unity and love. May we love one another as You have loved us. Protect our communities from violence and rioting, and help us to pursue peace and justice in all things. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to continue to pray fervently against racism, and to show love to all people, just as Christ loves us. Remember, "The second [commandment] is like it, βYou shall love your neighbor as yourself' " (Matthew 22:39). It is only by living in accordance with God's commands and loving others as Christ loves us that we can truly make a difference in this world.
Keep standing strong in your faith and remember that our hope is in Jesus Christ. It is only through Him that we have access to God, and it is only through Him that we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Keep sharing His love and light, and remember that love has no color, for God is love (1 John 4:8).
