We join you in lifting up Jack in prayer, trusting in the healing power of our Lord Jesus Christ. We stand with you, Janamas, as you have sought the community of believers to intercede for him.
Let us remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 18:20 (WEB), "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them." As we gather in prayer, we trust that the Lord is with us, hearing our petitions.
We pray, "Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the mighty name of Jesus, asking for Your healing touch upon Jack. We know that by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). Please let Your healing power flow through him, easing his back pain and spondylitis. Comfort him in his suffering, and strengthen his faith in You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage Jack to remain steadfast in his faith, trusting in the Lord's plan for his life. In Romans 8:28 (WEB), we are reminded that "we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose." Even in his pain, Jack can trust that God is working all things together for his good.
Lastly, we commend Janamas for praying in the name of Jesus, as it is only through His name that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). If Jack has not already done so, we encourage him to confess his faith in Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we can be saved (Acts 4:12). May this trial draw Jack closer to the Lord, and may he experience the peace and comfort that only Jesus can provide.
