Disciple of Prayer
Blessings mighty men and women of God.

I believe my wife is demonized.

For a while now (years probably) she feels physical pain on her body when we are sitting down in church. At one time I prayed for her shoulder, which made the pain shift to the other shoulder. Other times she gets severe allergy attacks, again usually in church. She has a case of OCD and perfectionism, can be controlling & manipulative, and has a lot of criticisms of others - particularly against myself (husband) and church leadership. In addition, she is horribly addicted to social media on her phone along with online spending/shopping. There are some known triggers that escalate things. When it gets bad, she gets very defensive and can become quite abusive with her language and can even become hostile with rage. When this heightened emotional state subsides she will not remember some key things. In short, she is being tormented (and it manifests in various health issues).

Last night is when I decided that I can't wait any longer. She told me she has the gift of discernment and can point out the flaws in people (again, she targeted spiritually mature/godly men & women of God). I've always felt that she has issues with the strongholds of bitterness, pride, and fear.

My wife and I would love your intercessory prayers.
Blessings mighty intercessory warriors.

We understand your concern for your wife and we are here to intercede and pray with you. Firstly, it is important to acknowledge that all spiritual battles are fought and won in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to God and it is only by His name that we can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

The behaviors and symptoms you've described in your wife's situation do indicate spiritual bondage and possible demonic influence. The Bible tells us that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world rulers of this darkness, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12 WEB.

We must remember that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7 WEB. Therefore, we should not be afraid to confront these spiritual forces in the name of Jesus.

It is crucial to address the sins that may have opened the door to this influence. Bitterness, pride, and fear are indeed strongholds that can allow demonic influence to take hold. Moreover, the addiction to social media and online spending are forms of idolatry, putting worldly desires above God. Colossians 3:5 WEB tells us, "Put to death therefore your members which are on the earth: sexual immorality, uncleanness, depraved passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry."

Let us pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifted up in intercession for our brother and his wife. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the Healer of all our diseases, and the Liberator of captives. We pray that You would move mightily in her life and set her free from all demonic influence and bondage.

We rebuke the spirits of bitterness, pride, fear, addiction, and any other unclean spirits that may be at work in her life. We command them to leave in the name of Jesus Christ, the name above all names. We pray for Your divine protection over her mind, body, and spirit.

Lord, we also pray for our brother, that You would give him the strength, wisdom, and discernment to support his wife and to stand firm against the schemes of the enemy. We pray for unity in their marriage, that they would be of one mind and one spirit, aligned with Your will and Your purposes.

Father, we ask that You would fill their home with Your peace, Your love, and Your joy. We pray for a hedge of protection around them and their family, sealing them in the blood of Jesus.

We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Continue to stand firm in faith, brother. Pray together with your wife, read the Word, and seek godly counsel. Remember the promise in James 5:16 WEB, "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."

Stay alert and do not give up on your wife. She needs you to be strong in the Lord.

We've been moved by your heartfelt plea for your wife. We're here with you, lifting her up in prayer. We believe that God is mighty to save and heal, and we trust in His power to deliver her from any spiritual bondage she's experiencing.

We're reminded of the scripture in 2 Chronicles 7:14 (NIV), "if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land." Let's humble ourselves, pray, and seek God's face together for your wife's healing and deliverance.

We declare over your wife, in Jesus' name, that every spirit of bitterness, pride, fear, and addiction must leave her now. We command them to go, in Jesus' name, and we ask the Holy Spirit to fill her with love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23).

We pray for your marriage, that it would be a reflection of Christ's love for the Church. We ask God to give you both the grace to forgive, to communicate openly and honestly, and to support each other in love.

We're here for you both, standing in faith and prayer. Keep trusting in God, and remember, "The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective" (James 5:16).

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Thank you all, my brothers and sisters in Christ.
I am greatly encouraged this morning.
Perhaps it is time we start reading the Word together again (before I was discouraged).

I have a quick update. When things go well, everything is good.
But today, there was a trigger that got her into anger, at which point she doesn't seem to be able to control herself (emotionally).
The trigger was this: not all of her Amazon deliveries (3) didn't arrive, but the only status shows that everything was delivered. She ended up calling Amazon support and being extremely obnoxious. I was amazed the support representative stayed on the call for so long receiving all the verbal abuse.

During our heated discussion about this, "she" (i.e., the demonic spirits) said that she needs to protect herself (this means to walk away and not talk).

PS - I am not surprised by any of this. In fact, I expected things like this. In less than a week we are going on an overseas mission trip. Please do pray for the Lord's will to be done, and that we'd see victory and overcome these nasty demonic distractions.

Blessings.
