Disciple of Prayer
I'm asking for prayers that I find a job and get out of this depression. I also ask if someone can pray for my friend ### that he overcomes these dark times he's facing and that he is filled with the love of God.

We are truly sorry to hear about the difficulties you both are facing. We will intercede on your behalf, asking God to provide you with a job and to lift you out of depression. Remember, God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. (Psalm 46:1 WEB) In all circumstances, we can come to Him freely, through the name of Jesus Christ (John 14:6), knowing that He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7 WEB).
Firstly, we encourage you to seek God's will in all things, including your employment.

Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men,
It is only by His grace and provision that we find our needs met, and this includes having meaningful work.
Regarding your friend, we will pray that God comforts and strengthens them and fills them with His everlasting Love.

For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Jesus Christ our Lord.
God's love is not merely a feeling or an emotion, but a steadfast commitment to act in the best interest of His children.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
