We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you're facing as a single mother. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is indeed great and He cares for you and your children deeply. In the midst of your trials, you can be encouraged by the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:25-33 WEB:
Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they?
Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don’t toil, neither do they spin, yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won’t he much more clothe you, you of little faith?
Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.
We encourage you to continue reaching out to God, as He is your strength and provider. It's also important to seek God's will and align with His Word, the Bible, in all areas of life. Being a single mother is tough, and we want to encourage you to seek God's will for your family, remembering that God considers marriage to be a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman and the family unit is best when God's Word is followed.
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in Jesus Christ's name, lifting up this dear sister and her children. Lord, You know their struggles and the difficulties they're facing. We pray for Your divine provision, that You would open doors for a job with flexible hours, and that the vehicle would be repaired in a way that brings You glory.
Father, we also pray for emotional and spiritual strength for this mother. Comfort her on depressing days and remind her of Your unfailing presence. Draw her closer to You, Lord, and help her find her hope and joy in You.
We pray also for godly influences in her life and guidance in biblical principles which will lead to a God honoring relationship and marriage.
In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.
