We are glad to join you in prayer for the conversion of this individual. We must remember that God desires for all to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. As it is written in 1 Timothy 2:3-4 WEB, "For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior; who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this person who needs Your saving grace. We ask that You soften their heart and open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel. Send Your Holy Spirit to convict them of their sin and draw them to You.
Lord, we know that it is not Your will that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. We claim this promise from 2 Peter 3:9 WEB, "The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient toward us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance."
We pray for the ministry of a spirit of repentance and freedom from all darkness as it says in 2 Corinthians 4:6 WEB, "Seeing it is God who said, 'Light will shine out of darkness,' who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ." We also pray for your Word to come alive to them as it says in Hebrews 4:12 WEB, "For the word of God is living and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and is able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart."
In Jesus' name, we pray for their salvation and that they would become a new creation in Christ, as promised in 2 Corinthians 5:17 WEB, "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new." Help us see them delivered from the power of darkness and to be translated into the kingdom of your dear Son as it says in Colossians 1:13 WEB, "who delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the Kingdom of the Son of his love."
We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, who alone is the way, the truth, and the life, and the only means by which we can come to You, Father. As it says in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Amen.
