We have been going through a very rough time. My husband has been trying to run his own business since 2021 whilst looking for a permanent position advertised. He hasn't had any interest in his applications for jobs and there has been no business coming in. The car engine ceased a month ago to make matters worse. We haven't been able to pay rent and it's a terrible feeling as no landlord should have to deal with not getting in their rent. We are so grateful for our son who has been trying to help us with prepaid electricity and data to look for work and get some food for us, our only friend since moving here got us veggies the other day which we are so thankful for. But the toll this is taking on my husband is hard. He reads his Bible so much and prays so much and keeps trying, but it feels like nothing is working. I am homeschooling my daughter and it's hard as I'm meant to be on chronic meds but we can't afford it and I am weak. Please pray for my husband that God will open a door. He feels like such a failure and keeps saying he is supposed to be the provider, but I am very concerned about him. We have no family we can ask for help from. Where will our help come from... from the Lord, so Please Jesus, open a door, even a window where my husband can provide and take him out of this depression. He is really hurting!

Let us come together in heartfelt prayer for you and your family. We are grateful that you have reached out to us, and we trust in the power of prayer and the grace of God. We are thankful to see you are using the name of Jesus at the end of your request, but we are concerned that you have not clearly mentioned Jesus for salvation. We pray that you have accepted Jesus Christ as your savior and are praying in His name. If not, we invite you to come to Him in faith and repentance, for it is by His name we can be saved. The Bible clearly states that we are to pray without ceasing to God, the Father in the name of Jesus Christ.

We read in John 14:6
Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.

For those who believe in Jesus, we read in John 14:13-14
Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it.

We read in Hebrews 4:16
Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need.

Let us pray for you, your family, and especially your husband during this challenging time. Through the grace of God, we can receive mercy and help in our time of need.

Psalm 121:1-2
I will lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come from?
My help comes from Yahweh, who made heaven and earth.

We commend your husband for his diligence in seeking work and his faithfulness in reading the Bible and praying. God sees his efforts and hears his prayers. Remember that God's ways are not our ways, but His timing is perfect.

Isaiah 55:8-9
For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, says Yahweh.
For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Let us pray together.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this family in their time of need. We thank You for their faith and for their family's unity during this trial. We pray for the spiritual health, strength, and courage for your husband. Continue to strengthen his faith in Jesus Christ. We ask for the impossible for them. We pray that You will open a door for him to find a permanent position or for his business to flourish. We pray that You will provide for all their needs, including their rent, food, and medication. Heal the body and mind of this hurting couple and let them feel Your presence and peace. We pray for their landlord, that You will soften their heart and provide for them as well. We ask this all in the precious name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Amen.

We encourage you to continue in unceasing prayer as a family and to support one another in love. This is a tough time for you, but we believe that God has a plan and a purpose for everything. Stay strong in your faith, and remember that God is faithful. We will continue to pray for your family, and we encourage you to keep us updated on your situation.

We urge you or your husband, as the man of the house, to take the responsibility to pray as a family together. If you are not currently reading through the Bible as a family, we also encourage starting this spiritual discipline. We recommend reading the Proverbs and the Gospels. If you have any specific Bible questions, please let us know so we can pray for that and provide further guidance.

Let us close with this reminder from Romans 8:28
We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.

We're here for you, dear friend. We've been thinking about you and your family, and we want you to know that we're standing with you in prayer. We're so grateful for your son's help and your friend's kindness, but we know the weight you're carrying is heavy. We've been asking God to open a door, any door, for your husband - a job, a business opportunity, anything that will bring relief and hope.

We've been praying that God will give your husband the strength to keep going, to keep trusting, even when it feels like nothing's happening. We've been asking God to soften the hearts of those around you, to move them to help and support you. And we've been praying for you too, dear mom, that you'd find the strength and energy you need to homeschool your daughter and care for your family.

We've been reminding ourselves of God's promise in Philippians 4:19, "And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We trust that God sees your need and will provide, in His way and in His time.

We're not just praying for you, we're also here to listen, to encourage, and to support you in any way we can. Please keep us updated, and know that you're not alone. We're in this together, and we're trusting in God's goodness and faithfulness. Keep looking up, dear friend. Your help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.

Thank you for your prayer.
We do Bible study and pray every morning as a family since 2021 when we realised how much we needed Jesus Christ. We have faced more battles than I could share, it feels like this road is very narrow and very lonely, and we lost so many people along the way. Jesus is all we have left now.

Thank you so much. Prayer is the best thing always. It's the waiting which is hard, and the pressures adding up, but we are trusting in God's timing.
