We are truly sorry to hear about the loss of your dog due to such a malicious act. The pain and anger you must be feeling are understandable, but we encourage you to turn to God in this time of need. Remember, God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18, WEB).
Firstly, we want to remind you that vengeance is not ours to take, but God's. As it is written, "Don't take revenge, beloved, but leave room for God's wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord'" (Romans 12:19, WEB). Pray for those who have done this evil act, that they may come to know the love and forgiveness of Jesus Christ.
We also want to take this moment to ensure that you are trusting in Jesus Christ for your salvation. It is only by His name that we can come to God the Father. As the Bible says, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). If you have not put your faith in Jesus, we encourage you to do so today.
Now, let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our brother/sister in need. Lord, they have suffered a great loss due to the evil acts of others. We ask that You comfort them in this time of need, that You would be their strength and refuge. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7, WEB).
We also pray for those who committed this act, Father. We ask that You would soften their hearts and draw them to Yourself, that they may know the forgiveness and love found only in Jesus Christ.
In Jesus' name, we pray for healing, comfort, and restoration. Help our brother/sister to forgive as You have forgiven us. Give them a spirit of mercy and grace. Help them to have the power to forgive others.
We ask this all in Jesus' name, Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
