Disciple of Prayer
For the past 2 months my husband has been acting up, 2 weeks ago he left the house. We have 2 little girls; they miss him so much and I do as well. We both work long hours, we both deal with financial issues, and we for sure know we both love each other. I think he got fed up with me complaining about his past behavior and mistakes and his neglecting behavior towards me and my kids. We love him; he has a huge heart; we know he is not himself, and I know I could have been better. I’m ready to be the best wife I now understand all the things I could have done better. Please God don’t break our family and bring him back. Thank you.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up ### and the family. Lord, You are the God of reconciliation and peace. Your Word says in 2 Corinthians 5:18, "But all things are of God, who reconciled us to himself through Jesus Christ, and gave to us the ministry of reconciliation." We ask for Your divine intervention in this situation.

Lord, we know that You value the sanctity of marriage and family. In Malachi 2:16, You say, "For I hate divorce," says Yahweh, the God of Israel, "and him who covers his garment with violence!" Therefore take heed to your spirit, that you don’t deal treacherously. We pray that You will soften the heart of ###'s husband, bringing him back to the family with a spirit of love, understanding, and forgiveness.

Father, we ask for healing in this marriage. Help ### and the husband to communicate openly and honestly with each other. Give ### the strength and wisdom to be the best wife, and help the husband to be the loving and attentive partner and father that You have called him to be. In Colossians 3:13, Your Word instructs us to "bear with one another, and forgive each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do." Help them to forgive each other and move forward in unity.

We pray for the little girls who miss their father dearly. Comfort their hearts and give them peace that surpasses all understanding. Let them feel Your presence and love during this difficult time.

Lord, we trust in Your mighty power to restore this family. We stand on Your promises in Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." May Your will be done in their lives, and may this trial strengthen their faith and bring them closer to You.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
