We understand your concerns and are here to intercede with you, ###. Let's bring these matters before the Lord together.
Firstly, we pray for your father, that God may grant him the humility to surrender his pride and ego. As it is written in James 4:6, "But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, 'God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.'" We ask God to help him seek help when needed and to grant him wisdom and strength in his challenging job.
Next, we address your struggle with lust and addiction to pornography. We commend you for acknowledging this issue and seeking help. As Romans 13:14 instructs, "But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts." We pray that the Holy Spirit will guide you and strengthen you to resist these temptations. Remember, God has provided a way out of temptation, as promised in 1 Corinthians 10:13, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it."
We are glad that you ended your prayer in the name of Jesus, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father. As John 14:6 reminds us, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"
