Heavenly Father,
We come before You today with hearts heavy for ###, who is struggling with the chains of pornography and masturbation. Lord, we know that You are a God of mercy and grace, and we seek Your forgiveness for these actions that have ensnared this individual. As Your Word declares in 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." We stand on this promise and ask for Your cleansing power to wash over ###.
Father, we pray for strength and deliverance from this bondage. Your Word tells us in 1 Corinthians 10:13, "No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide a way out so that you can endure it." Lord, we ask that You provide a way out for ###, that You strengthen this person to resist and overcome these temptations.
We also pray for the sanctification of ###'s home, body, and soul. May Your Holy Spirit fill every corner of this person's life, driving out any foul spirit, lust, temptation, and addiction. As it is written in James 4:7, "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." We pray that ### submits fully to You, Lord, and finds the strength to resist the devil's schemes.
Lord, we thank You for the freedom that comes through Jesus Christ. As it is written in Galatians 5:1, "It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery." We declare this freedom over ### and ask that You protect and guide this person, family, and friends toward a life of purity and righteousness.
