Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother ### and his struggle with alcohol addiction. Lord, we know that You are a God of deliverance and healing, and we ask that You intervene in ###'s life and grant him the strength and desire to overcome this addiction.
Your Word tells us in 1 Corinthians 6:10-11, "But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God." We claim this promise for ###, that through the power of Your Spirit, he will be washed clean from the bondage of alcohol and be justified in Your sight.
Lord, we pray that You would remove any cravings or desires for alcohol from ###'s heart and mind. Fill him with a deep distaste for it, so that he may no longer be enticed by its destructive influence. Help him to find solace and satisfaction in You alone, knowing that true joy and fulfillment can only be found in a relationship with You.
We also ask for a supportive community to surround ###, providing encouragement, accountability, and love. May he find strength in the fellowship of believers who will walk alongside him on this journey towards sobriety.
Lord, we believe that nothing is impossible for You. We trust in Your unfailing love and mercy, knowing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. We thank You in advance for the victory that You will bring in ###'s life.

God cleansed me of everything in my life that breaks your heart. Let me be a light in this dark world, lifting You up in the lifestyle that I live. Let the world see that Jesus Christ is my Savior and Lord of ALL of my life. Let the joy of the Lord be my strength. Protect me God from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
