Dear ###,
We are deeply moved by your concern for your youngest son and we join with you in lifting him up to our Lord. It is a comfort to know that God hears the prayers of a concerned parent and cares deeply for each of His children.
In the Bible, we read in James 5:14-15, “Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. The prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.”
Let us pray together:
Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your healing grace for this precious little one. We ask that You lay Your healing hands upon him, Lord. Touch his heart and stomach, and bring complete restoration to his body. May the fever, cold, and cough be lifted from him, and may he be filled with strength and health once again.
We ask that You comfort him and grant him peace, Lord. Be with him in his time of need, and let Your presence be a soothing balm to his soul. We ask that You also give his parents wisdom and guidance as they care for him, and that You provide them with the strength and peace they need during this time.
Lord, we know that it is only in the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to You, and that there is no other name by which we can be saved. We thank You for the gift of Your Son, who died for our sins and rose again, so that we might have eternal life.
In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
Take heart, ###, knowing that God is faithful and that He hears your prayers. Keep trusting in Him, and remember the words of Psalm 147:3, “He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds.” May the Lord bless you and your family abundantly.
