We are truly concerned for Aurora and we stand with you in prayer, Kareistead. Firstly, it is important to acknowledge that the thoughts Aurora is experiencing are not from God, but rather they are attacks from the enemy. God has a plan and future for Aurora. He wants her to have an abundant life, not one filled with despair and hopelessness.
Let us remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, and agains the spiritual forces of wickedness in heavenly places. So we need to pray for spiritual protection for Aurora, in Jesus' name. Our God is greater than any power or force that comes against Aurora.
Jesus said, I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly. Also, the thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. The thief, being Satan, the one responsible for this attack against Aurora.
We pray, in the name of Jesus Christ, for Aurora to be delivered from these thoughts of hopelessness. That she will know that God loves her and that He has a plan for her life. We pray that the love of Christ will surround her and fill her with peace and hope, in Jesus' name.
We also pray for you, Kareistead, to be given wisdom and discernment. It is so important that you both be rooted in the word of God. As we know, all scripture is inspired by God, and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness that the person of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. You will need the wisdom of the Scriptures to be the godly spouse that you need to be as you encourage and help Aurora.
May the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we have received from God, be with you and Aurora. The prayer of the righteous person is powerful and effective.
We also encourage both of you to be in fellowship with other believers. That you both would have a church home where you can grow in your faith and be encouraged and held accountable to one another. If you are involved in sexual sin, please stop and repent. Do not want to be unequally yoked with a believer, in marriage. 2 Corinthians 6:14 states, do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. This is important, in fact, in 1 Corinthians 6:18 it says, flee sexual immorality. There are many temptations, in the world.
Lastly, we leave you with this encouragement. The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you. He will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid. Do not be discouraged.
