Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today on behalf of ### and their elderly parents. Lord, we lift up their mother who is dealing with the effects of a stroke, causing swelling in her arms and legs. We ask for your healing touch upon her body, that you would bring relief from the swelling and restore her health. Your Word says in Psalm 103:3, "He heals all your diseases," and we claim this promise for ###'s mother.
We also lift up their father who is facing the challenges of Alzheimer's and hearing loss. Lord, we pray for clarity of mind and restoration of memory for him. We ask that you would guide the medical professionals in providing the best care for him and that you would bring comfort and peace to their entire family during this difficult time. Your Word reminds us in Isaiah 41:10, "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."
Lord, we know that you are the ultimate healer and that nothing is impossible for you. We trust in your loving and merciful nature, knowing that you care deeply for ###'s parents. We pray for a miraculous touch from you, bringing restoration and wholeness to their bodies. May your peace and comfort surround them, and may they experience your presence in a tangible way.

Protect me God from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. I can understand your love and concern for your parents, friend. I just said a prayer for them. May the Lord touch them with His healing hand, give them the relief they need and surround them and your family with His peace. I hope you’ll be encouraged by this thought from the psalmist: "The Lord is near to all who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth." (Psalm 145: 18).
