I prayed for this in Jesus Name. Amen.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up ###'s dad, ###, who is facing the challenges of mental health and alcoholism. Lord, we ask for your divine intervention and healing touch upon his life. We pray that you would bring comfort to his heart as he mourns the loss of his mother, ###'s grandma. You are the God of all comfort, and we ask that you would wrap your loving arms around ###, providing him with the peace that surpasses all understanding.
In your Word, you promise to heal the brokenhearted and bind up their wounds. We claim this promise for ###, knowing that you are able to bring restoration and wholeness to his mind, body, and spirit. We ask that you would break the chains of addiction and set him free from the bondage of alcoholism. Fill him with your Holy Spirit, replacing his struggles with your peace, joy, and love.
Lord, we also pray for ### and the entire family. Grant them strength, patience, and wisdom as they support and encourage ### during this difficult time. Surround them with your love and give them the assurance that you are working in their lives.
We thank you, Lord, for your faithfulness and for hearing our prayers. We trust in your perfect timing and your unfailing love. May your healing power flow through ###'s life, bringing transformation and restoration. We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus.

I’m saddened to hear of the death of your grandma, friend. I realize how painful this must be for your dad and your family. I just said a prayer, asking the Lord to comfort, strengthen, and surround your dad and your family with His loving presence during this difficult time. May your dad experience healing in mind and heart and may the love of Christ continue to uphold your family and touch you with His healing hand whenever you hurt. I leave you with this comforting verse from the Bible: "I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee" (Heb. 13:5).

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You or breaks Your heart. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
