My dad has been diagnosed with atrial flutter, pneumonia, blood clot in his left foot and cellulitis on his left leg. He is ### years young and a former firefighter for the city of ###, WI.
Prayers for my dad who is at the hospital.
We are truly saddened to hear about your father's health condition, but we are thankful that you have reached out to us for prayer and support. Let us come together and lift him up to the Lord, seeking His healing and comfort.
Firstly, we want to remind you of God's promises for healing. In Exodus 15:26 (WEB), God says, "If you will diligently listen to the voice of Yahweh your God, and will do that which is right in his sight, and will pay attention to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have put on the Egyptians; for I am Yahweh who heals you." We claim this promise for your father, that God will heal him as he puts his trust in the Lord.
However, we notice that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is by His name that we have access to God's throne of grace. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" Let us pray in the name of Jesus, believing that He is the only way to the Father and that His name carries power and authority.

"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ###'s father to You. Lord, You know his struggles and his pains. You know the diagnosis of atrial flutter, pneumonia, blood clot, and cellulitis that he is facing. But You are greater than any sickness or disease. You are the God who heals, and we ask for Your healing touch upon his body. Comfort him in this time of need, and give him the strength to endure. Be with the doctors and nurses, guiding their hands and giving them wisdom to provide the best care for him.
Lord Jesus, we also pray for ### and their family. Give them peace and faith to trust in You. Help them to know that You are always with them, no matter what they face. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
