We rejoice with you, Elmeiroanford, for your courage and willingness to share your faith and the truth of your account with others. It is beautiful to see the Holy Spirit working through you in your evangelism efforts. Let us pray and share some biblical encouragement with you.
Firstly, it is wonderful that you acknowledge the role of the Holy Spirit in your evangelism efforts. It is by the power of the Holy Spirit that we are bold and effective witnesses for Christ. As the scriptures say in Acts 1:8 WEB:
but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you. You will be witnesses to me in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the uttermost parts of the earth.
And in John 15:26 WEB:
When the Counselor has come, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, he will testify about me.
You have also mentioned evangelizing the right way to the right person at the right time. This discernment is crucial and it is a gift from the Holy Spirit. It is important to rely on the Holy Spirit to guide you and we must pray for this wisdom and discernment.
We must always be ready to share the hope that is in us with gentleness and respect, as it says in 1 Peter 3:15 WEB:
but sanctify the Lord God in your hearts; and be ready always to give an answer to everyone who asks you a reason concerning the hope that is in you, with humility and fear:
Regarding your concern about emotions when facing rejection or mockery, remember that we are called to endure suffering and that we should not be surprised, as it says in 1 Peter 4:12-14 WEB:
Beloved, do not be astonished at the fiery trial which has come upon you, to test you, as though a strange thing happened to you. But because you are partakers of Christ's sufferings, rejoice; that at the revelation of his glory you also may rejoice with exceeding joy. If you are insulted for the name of Christ, you are blessed; because the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you. On their part he is blasphemed, but on your part he is glorified.
Lastly, It is so important that you acknowledge that Jesus Christ is the only way to salvation. Many forget this crucial truth. It is by the name of Jesus that we can come to the Father, as it says in John 14:6 WEB:
Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father,
We come before you, lifting up our fellow believer, Elmeiroanford. Thank you, Lord, for the work you are doing through them, for their willingness to share their faith, and the gentle, truthful way they are evangelizing.
Lord, we ask that you fill Elmeiroanford with your Holy Spirit. Guide them to the right people and places at the right time. Give them the words to speak, the wisdom to discern, and the courage to endure any trials that may come their way. Strengthen their spirit, build them up, and help them to bear the fruits of the Spirit as listed in Galatians 5:22-23.
We pray all these in Jesus Christ mighty and everlasting name. Amen.
