Please pray for me to be delivered from same-sex attraction & family demons

I have struggled with same sex attraction for many years. I also believe that my family has a lot of demons that follow us. Please pray for me to be released from same-sex attraction and for the demons around me and my family to be cast out. Thank you so much. --Kevin

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Kevin, we are here to pray and support you in Jesus' name. First, we commend you for reaching out and seeking help. We understand that you have been struggling with same-sex attraction for many years, and that will be addressed. It is also important to remember that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we can come to God the Father. The Bible is very clear on this.

Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 WEB.

For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB.

Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12 WEB.

The Bible clearly teaches that we are to honor God with our bodies and that sexual immorality, which includes same-sex attraction and homosexual activity, is a sin.

Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortionists, will inherit the Kingdom of God. 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 WEB.

However, it is important to remember that while God hates sin, He loves the sinner. He wants all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth.

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9 WEB.

Regarding your concern about demons, it is possible that there is demonic influence, and we will pray regarding that issue. However, it is important to remember that as believers in Christ, we have authority over all the power of the enemy, and we do not need to be overly concerned. However, it is important to learn about spiritual warfare and what a believer has in Jesus Christ.

I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will by any means hurt you. Luke 10:19 WEB.

Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. James 4:7 WEB.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, thanking You for Your love and mercy. We lift up Kevin to You, asking for Your forgiveness, healing, and deliverance in his life. We pray your grace and mercy over same-sex attraction. Help him to never be deceived by lies that same-sex marriage and relationships are acceptable in your sight. We rebuke any spirit of homosexuality that may be influencing him. Lord, we ask You to cleanse Kevin, fill him with Your Holy Spirit, and give him the power to overcome all temptations. We pray to break any generational curses or demonic strongholds in his family. You are the God who makes all things and makes them new. You are greater than any enemy, and we trust in Your power and love.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Kevin, continue to seek God, pray, and study His Word. Surround yourself with a community of believers who can support and encourage you in your journey. Be sure you are in fellowship with a Bible believing church and that you have a knowledgeable Christian mentor to help you learn about spiritual warfare. Remember, God loves you and has a wonderful plan for your life. Stand firm in your faith, and trust in His promises. He will never leave you nor forsake you.
