Say your prayers before bed on your knees if your able, ask God to give you comfort to sleep. It is a good time to read the bible because the word is heavy. If you have a small pocket book bible sleep with it in your pillowcase. I feel like this helps protect me. Since I have been doing that, I have not had bad nightmares for over two months now. Make sure the lights are low near your bed, bright lights keep you up. Lastly, listening to the promises of God soothes me - It will help. Beautiful ocean sounds with God's promises
