Please pray for healing from addiction for ...

Please pray for healing from addiction for my son Jacob. He gets clean for a short time then the demons get too much. He has a mental illness and when he does drugs it distorts his concept of reality. I worry so much for him!!! Please pray for healing over his life!!!

Dear Heavenly Father,

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we come before you on behalf of Tuesun and her son Jacob. We lift up Jacob to you, Lord, and we ask for your divine intervention and healing in his life. We acknowledge that addiction is a stronghold that can only be broken by the power of your Holy Spirit.

Lord, we pray that you would break the chains of addiction that have bound Jacob. We rebuke the work of Satan in his life and declare victory in the name of Jesus Christ. We ask that you would release him from the power of the enemy and set him free from the bondage of addiction.

Father, we also lift up Jacob's mental illness to you. We know that drugs can exacerbate his condition and distort his perception of reality. We ask for your healing touch upon his mind, that you would bring clarity and peace to his thoughts. We pray for restoration and wholeness in his mental health.

Lord, we know that you are the ultimate healer and deliverer. Your Word says in Psalm 34:17-18, "The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." We claim this promise over Jacob's life, believing that you will deliver him from addiction and restore him to a place of wholeness.

We also pray for Tuesun, Lord, as she carries the burden of worry for her son. Comfort her, strengthen her, and fill her with your peace that surpasses all understanding. Help her to trust in your perfect timing and to continue to pray persistently for Jacob's healing.

God cleansed me of everything in my life that breaks your heart. Let me be a light in this dark world, lifting You up in the lifestyle that I live. Let the world see that Jesus Christ is my Savior and Lord of ALL of my life. Let the joy of the Lord be my strength. Protect me God from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who truly love me, care about me, want Your best for me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about.
