We understand that you are seeking deliverance from addiction to alcohol and tobacco, as well as healing and restoration in your family and marriage. Firstly, we commend you for recognizing the need for change and seeking help. God is faithful, and we believe that through Him, true deliverance and healing can be found.
Let us remind you of what the WEB says in 1 Corinthians 10:13, No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it. This means that God will provide a way out of your addiction, and He will equip you with the strength to overcome it.
We also pray that God will help you deal with your anger in healthy ways. Ephesians 4:26-27 says, Be angry, and don't sin. Don't let the sun go down on your wrath, neither give place to the devil. This means that it is okay to feel angry, but it is important to express it in a way that does not cause harm to yourself or others.
Regarding your marriage, we pray that God will restore and strengthen the bonds between you and your spouse.
Healing and restoration to your family.
However, we notice that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer request. It is only through His name that we have access to God and salvation. As it says in Acts 4:12, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Please remember to pray in this name.
As a group, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up this person to You in Jesus name. Lord, we ask for Your deliverance from alcohol and tobacco addiction. Provide them with Your strength and a way of escape from temptation. Help them deal with their anger in healthy ways, and restore their family and marriage. In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray for healing, stronger bonds, and a long, peace-filled life together. Lord if there is a need for this person to believe in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior then please make that clear to this person and draw them to You. Guide each one to have the faith and the willingness to repent and believe. Thank you that we can come in Jesus Name and expect results. Amen. In Jesus Name.
We encourage you to find a Bible-believing community where you can find support and fellowship. Seek guidance and support from fellow Christians and your pastor. Remember, God is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you.
