We understand your struggle and commend you for seeking help through prayer. Addiction can be a powerful stronghold, but with God's help, you can overcome it. First, let's pray for God to give you the strength to overcome the wine drinking from the heart of the matter.
Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up this dear mother who is struggling with an addiction to wine. We ask, Lord, that You would break the chains of this addiction and set her free. Give her the strength to resist the temptation, and help her to live a long, healthy life for the sake of her precious children. Guide her with the Holy Spirit to hear the conviction inside of her and to live for You through Your Son Jesus Christ. We pray these things in Jesus' name. Amen
We encourage you to take practical steps towards recovery. Consider confiding in a trusted Christian friend, pastor, or counselor about your struggle. They can provide support, accountability, and guidance. Also, remember that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, and it is important to honor God with your body.As it says in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 WEB:
Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.
Also, meditate on 1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB:
No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.
In your prayer, you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ or an abbreviation such as IJN (In Jesus Name), it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. For it says in Acts 4:11-12 WEB:
For Jesus is the one of whom it is written,
‘The stone which the builders rejected
has become the head of the corner.’ This is the stone which was regarded as nothing by you builders, which has become the head of the corner,” and there is salvation in none other, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved!”
Finally, remember that God loves you and wants the best for you. Trust in Him, and He will give you the victory.
