I request fervent prayers for my mother, ###, who is struggling with a significant addiction to the internet, particularly her cell phone and YouTube. This dependency has persisted for several years, leading her to become engrossed in world news, politics, and trivial short videos that lack substantial value. Daily, she inundates me with these inconsequential clips, despite my repeated assertions that I am uninterested in current events and do not have the time to engage with such content. My responsibilities, including job searching, overseeing home repairs, and ensuring that the handyman fulfills his duties, leave me with little opportunity to watch YouTube videos. I implore for divine intervention to liberate my mother from this compulsive behavior. Despite my efforts to communicate her addiction to her phone and YouTube, she remains in denial. I consistently encourage her to reduce her screen time and pursue more fulfilling activities, such as reading and prayer, but my advice is ignored by her. Her excessive phone usage has also contributed to her insomnia, as she frequently stays up late. This unhealthy sleep pattern is a direct consequence of her addiction. I am weary of her immature conduct and earnestly pray for God to transform her and free her from these detrimental habits. I am asking this prayer in the name of Jesus. Amen.
Pray for ### addiction to her cell phone and ###
We understand your concern for your mother, ###, and we join you in fervent prayer for her deliverance from this addiction. The Bible tells us that all things are lawful, but not all things are helpful. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.
