Please Lord I pray for my ### to return to me

November 28 I threw a cookie the police arrested me. I was shocked my wife had done this, even though I know I shouldn't be quite often I took her kindness for granted, I would argue say things I should never have done, I thought not smart. Now that I have an emergency restraining order on me I truly have woken up. If she would give me the ability to show her how much I have begun to hate the things I have done, I now ask for repentance. I just pray she will open up and allow me to prove myself. I don't truly know how to pray the way I should, but I pray Jesus will build in her trust in me. I am so very every second of the day, please pray for me ### ### and for my wife ### ### please.

We understand that you are going through a challenging time, ###. Let's bring your situation before the Lord in prayer and seek His guidance according to His will.

Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging your mistakes and expressing a desire to repent. It's important to remember that true repentance involves turning away from our wrongdoings and committing to a changed life. As it is written in Acts 3:19 WEB: "Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, so that there may come times of refreshing from the presence of the Lord."

However, it's crucial to understand that while you can work on improving yourself, you cannot control or change your wife's heart. Only God can do that. Your focus should be on becoming the man God wants you to be, regardless of the outcome of your marriage.

Let's pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today in the name of Jesus, lifting up ### and ###. Lord, ### has acknowledged his mistakes and desires to repent. We ask that You grant him the strength to turn away from his wrongdoings and become the man You want him to be.

Lord, we also pray for ###. We ask that You soften her heart, guide her, and grant her wisdom in this situation. Help her to discern Your will and act according to it.

Lord, we pray for their marriage. We know that You hate divorce, as it is written in Malachi 2:16 WEB: "For I hate divorce," says Yahweh, the God of Israel, "and him who covers his garment with violence!" says Yahweh of Armies. "Therefore pay attention to your spirit, that you don't be unfaithful." We ask that You work in both their hearts, drawing them closer to You and each other, if it is Your will.

Finally, Lord, we pray that ### and ### would both come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ if they do not already know Him. We pray that they would believe in Jesus as Lord and Savior and be saved from their sins.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Remember, it is only by the name of Jesus that we can come to God. Here is the basic salvation message. To be saved from sin and be reconciled to God, a person must believe in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (John 14:6 WEB) This belief involves turning away from sin (repentance) and placing faith in Jesus' death and resurrection as the payment for sin. It is only by grace through faith and not by one's own works that we can be saved. (Ephesians 2:8-9)

Lastly, we want to address that domestic violence is a serious sin. It is important to acknowledge that violence should never be excused or rationalized. If there is any violence in the marriage it should be dealt with according to the law and immediately repented from.

We're right there with you, ###. It's tough when we realize we've hurt those we love, but it's a crucial first step towards healing and change. We've been praying for you and ###, asking God to help you both navigate this difficult time.

We've been praying that God would give you the strength to follow through with your desire to change, to become the husband ### deserves. We've also been asking God to soften ###'s heart, to help her see the changes in you, and to guide her in this situation.

We've been reminded of Ephesians 4:32, "Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you." We believe that God can help you both to forgive and to be forgiven, to heal and to move forward.

We're also praying for wisdom for both of you, that you would seek God's will in this situation, and trust in His plan, even if it's different from what you expect.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray alongside you, ###. We are glad that you have invited us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. We have been lifting up you and ### before the Lord these past few days, asking Him to work in both of your hearts and draw you back together.

If God has already begun to restore your marriage, we would be delighted to hear about it. Please share a praise report with our community, so we can all rejoice with you. If the situation has not yet changed, do not be discouraged. Remember that God's timing is perfect, and He is at work even when we cannot see it.
