We are truly sorry to hear about the trauma you have experienced and the spiritual attacks you are currently facing. Firstly, we commend you for reaching out and for your faith in the power of Jesus' name. It is by His name that Jesus Christ we have access to God. There is no other name by which we can be saved. We stand with you in prayer and truth, rebuking the enemy and all his attempts to harm you. Remember, God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble, Psalm 46:1 WEB.
In times of distress, we can call on the Lord and He will answer; for though we walk through the valley of the shadow of death, we will fear no evil, for God is with us. Psalm 23:4 WEB
Let's address the spiritual attack and PTSD flashbacks together. The Bible tells us that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7 WEB. We rebuke the spirit of fear and trauma that has been haunting you. We pray for God's perfect love to cast out all fear, 1 John 4:18 WEB, and for His peace to guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7 WEB
Regarding your desire to expose your abuser in a book, we encourage you to seek God's will and timing. It is important to forgive as the Lord forgave us, Colossians 3:13 WEB, but this does not mean what happened is acceptable nor does it remove the need for justice. Writing your experiences can be therapeutic and perhaps help others, but it is crucial to ensure it is God's will and that it does not stir up more harm than good in your life or others. Seek God's guidance and wisdom in this matter and do not give place to feelings of vengeance. Romans 12:19 WEB. Vengeance is mine; I will repay, says the Lord.
Let us pray together:
Almighty God, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, interceding for our fellow believer who is experiencing spiritual attacks and PTSD flashbacks. Lord, we rebuke the enemy and all his attempts to harm. We pray for Your divine protection and healing over their life. Fill them with Your peace, strength, and calmness. Guide them as they write their experiences, and may Your will be done in every aspect of their life. Give them the strength to forgive and release any bitterness and desire for vengeance. Give them a heart filled with love, compassion, and understanding, knowing that the one who goes to you in faith with forgiveness gets forgiveness. In Jesus' name, we pray with thanksgiving. Amen.
Be strong and courageous, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9 WEB.
