AmenFather, i pray for your grace to abound over this person's parents that they would begin to see that getting older does not mean getting feeble and sick, or lonely. I ask you to bless them with shalom and with long life will you satisfy them and show them your salvation Psalms 91:16. In Jesus name. Amen.
Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. Father I ask for people to cross the path of this person's parents to bring the good news of the kingdom of God that getting "old" as we have been programmed to believe via this world is not Your kingdom reality. In Jesus name. Amen.
I will be 68 in October and I have discovered through the word of God the will of God is for us to be strong and not feeble. I read in the Bible that Moses was 120 years old and was not dim of sight neither was his natural force (his life) become weak nor feeble. In fact, the will of God established that people be better as they get older (and by the way because they are 70 does not mean they are old, it is just a number). We have been conditioned to expect to grow old and feeble, and we see that in the world. God never intended for fear to guide our lives but for His grace and mercy and love to always be seen in in our lives. Psalms 103:5 says "He renews our youth as the eagles" It really is about what we have come to believe. I personally have been told by the Lord to "reject aging because the word says, "he renews my youth as the eagles" and not one was feeble and sick as the children of Israel came out of Egypt.
I don't know if your parents are believers (saved) but pray that God would give them life and life more abundantly. That they be stronger and walk in health and ability.
I plan on living a long long time in strength, in ability, nothing missing, nothing broken. I believe Psalm 91, no evil befalls me nor any plague comes near my dwelling. I believe that Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law (sickness and disease) for the word of God says, that it is the law of the Spirit of LIFE in Christ Jesus that has made me (us) free from the law of sin and death.
The will of God be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Psa 145:8 The LORD is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy.
Psa 145:9 The LORD is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works.
