Heavenly Father,
We come before You with a heart full of hope and longing for a relationship that reflects Your love and commitment. We lift up this request to You, asking for Your divine intervention in this relationship. Lord, You said in 1 Corinthians 13:4-7, "Love is patient and is kind; love doesn’t envy. Love doesn’t brag, is not proud, doesn’t behave itself inappropriately, doesn’t seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil; doesn’t rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things."
Father, we pray that this boyfriend's heart is softened and opened to see the value and love that is offered in this relationship. May he recognize the importance of making this relationship a priority and treating it with the respect and care it deserves. Help him to see the potential for a future together and to seek Your wisdom in making decisions that honor You.
Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us to "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
